I realize it has been a long time since I posted a new blog, but this past year has been interesting to say the least! I am thankful that we have "survived" the pandemic, and I am hopeful that some perspective has been gained by all.

For me, probably the number one lesson I learned is not to take ANYTHING for granted, not health, nor personal freedom, not even toilet paper. The physical, emotional, mental, financial, and social stress for all has been something we cannot reclaim, but we can figure out how to move forward. I am grateful for continuing in the past year to read my Bible and attend church for my spirit, practice Tai chi for my mind, gather with family and friends for my emotions, boost my immune system with regular exercise, eating nourishing foods, taking extra supplements, and getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine for my body. 

I am considering the possibility of becoming a certified Barre Above instructor, so that I can continue learning ways to help others with their exercise and fitness challenges. Stay tuned for updates on my class schedule for the upcoming fall.
